Stats: Big Numbers, Tiny Patients
Apr 26, 2017 Cedars-Sinai Staff
Cedars-Sinai is dedicated to caring for the most vulnerable patients: Among them are infants born prematurely, newborns who require help breathing, and babies born with life-threatening conditions. A stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), part of the Maxine Dunitz Children’s Health Center, can vary from a day of observation to several months of treatment by a team of neonatologists, nurses, and therapists.
